Travel-friendly Suji Halwa/ Suji Kheer

1 cup suji/ semolina

½ cup ghee

Cardamom powder – 1 pinch

Sugar optional

Heat ghee in a heavy bottomed pan.

Roast suji in ghee on medium flame till it gives nice aroma.

Cool and store in an air-tight container.

When using, take boiling hot water in a bowl, add sugar to taste and 2 tbsp of roasted suji. Your on-the-go suji halwa is ready for your child.

You can also add milk in place of water to make suji kheer.
