First Foods(4-7 months)

You do not require much for making baby food and equipments from your kitchen are enough for this purpose. However, few things will be good to have.

  • A small pressure cooker (1 to 1 ½ litre capacity ) : This is a life saver. You can cook small amounts of food baby in a jiffy without much fuss.

  • A good quality steel strainer : Great for straining cooked food. Can also be used to puree well-cooked food. Simply put cooked fruits/ vegetables onto strainer and pass it through using a spoon or fork.

  • Hand blender : This is a nice-to-have. You can also use your regular blender, but this is very convenient as you can blend into your container itself. Will be very helpful to mash baby's food as baby grows.
