Carrot Puree Baby Food Recipe

 

Ingredients

1 carrot

Water a required

Recipe

Wash and peel the carrot and cut it into small pieces.

Put the carrot pieces in a small pan and add 1 cup water and bring to a boil.

Turn the heat to low and cook these for 10-15 minutes in a covered pan till carrots turn soft.

Let the carrots cool down a bit.

Put the cooked carrots along with the water in a blender and blend to a fine puree.

 

 

Peas Puree Baby Food Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup shelled green peas

Water a required

Recipe

Put the green peas in a small pan and add 1 cup water and bring to a boil.

Turn the heat to low and cook these for 10-15 minutes in a covered pan till peas turn soft.

Let them cool down a bit and put the cooked carrots along with the water in a blender and blend to a fine puree.

Sweet Potato Puree Baby Food Recipe

Ingredients

1 sweet potato

Water a required

Recipe

Wash and peel the sweet potato and cut it into small pieces.

Put the cut sweet potato in a pan and add 1 cup water and bring to a boil.

Turn the heat to low and cook these for 10-15 minutes in a covered pan till they turn soft.

Cool them down and blend to a fine puree.

 

Pumpkin Puree Baby Food Recipe

Cut pumpkin into small pieces and cook them till soft.

Cool the pumpkin down and blend to a smooth puree.

Pumpkin puree baby food recipe is ready.

 

Potato Puree Baby Food Recipe

Peel and clean potatoes well. Cut into small pieces.

Boil or pressure cook till well-cooked.

Cool down potato pieces and put in a mixer jar.

Add small amount of milk to make a smooth puree.

 

Bottle Gourd (Lauki ) Puree Baby Food Recipe

Bottle gourd or lauki is a mild vegetable and is very good for babies. It also has a lot of water content so it is very easy to be pureed.

Cut bottle gourd into small pieces and cook them in a pan with till soft.

Cool them down and blend to a smooth puree.

You can also make a puree/mash out of apple and lauki.

Cut both into small pieces, cook in a pan with water.

How to freeze the extra puree

You can make this puree in large quantities and freeze it for later.

Take out the extra puree and put in ice cube tray and freeze completely.

Once frozen, take the cubes out and put in tupperware boxes or ziplock bags.

Store in the freezer for later use.

 

How to use frozen puree cubes

Take out the required quantity of frozen puree cubes.

Thaw them naturally and bring them to room temperature.

Heat slightly if needed or serve as is.
